The document notes that the sale of alcohol can improve the marginality of the gas station. According to the calculations of the Russian fuel community of Evgeny Arkusha, the implementation can bring about 30-40 kopecks from 1 liter of fuel to gas stations.
Restrictions on the sale of beer in Russia were introduced in 2011, when it was equated to alcoholic beverages. In particular, beer cannot be sold on public transport, at bus stops and gas stations. Restrictions do not apply to catering establishments operating on transport.
The previous idea was banned in 2020, when a similar initiative was prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). The relief was seen as a measure of support from the measures introduced to combat the coronavirus in the sector of the economy.
