Debrecen – Significantly fewer people have been identified in this last year than in previous weeks.
The number of vaccinated persons was 6,190,822, of whom 5,893,531 had already received the second vaccination, and 3,005,109 had already received the third vaccination, koronavirus.gov.hu reported.
In the last three days, 16,017 new infections have been confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infections to 1,198,939.
In Hajdú-Bihar, 941 new infections were identified at the end, so a total of 66025 people in the county have been infected since the beginning of the epidemic.
This is a more favorable figure for the recent period, with two thousand new infections in a weekend in November, but the number of new infections was usually around 1,500.
The majority of the 45 deaths in the past three days are elderly, chronic, bringing the number of deaths to 36,884. The number of people cured is constantly increasing, currently 991,639 people, and the number of active infected people has decreased to 170,416 people. 6531 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 565 of whom are on ventilators. The vaccination campaign over the past three weeks ended on Sunday night, with a total of 1,436,000 people vaccinated, of whom 1,717,000 have already received a booster dose, and 166,000 people who have not been vaccinated so far have decided to take their first vaccination. The appointment book for vaccination of children aged 5-11 was opened on Saturday, parents with a valid registration can book an appointment.
