DIJON: The Multiplex vaccination center reinforced by twelve contract agents
The departmental fire and rescue service of Côte-d’Or has recruited twelve new employees to ensure the reception of the public in the Multiplex room.
Press release from the Côte-d’Or prefecture of December 13, 2021:
As part of the ramp-up of the vaccination campaign, the Multiplex vaccination center system has been strengthened to be able to accommodate up to 1,000 patients per day.
In the absence of the armed forces which had initially provided the reception and secretariat functions, the vaccination center system has been redesigned and its staff has been reinforced by the recruitment, until March 31, of 12 contractual agents, by the departmental fire and rescue service of Côte-d’Or (SDIS21).
The financial support of these posts is the subject of an agreement between the SDIS and the regional health agency, which mobilizes appropriations from the regional intervention fund for this purpose.
In addition to the logistical and technical supervision and medico-first aid surveillance of the center, the SDIS21, through its Health and Medical Relief Service (SSSM), will henceforth assume on behalf of the State the whole missions necessary for the proper functioning of it. This complementary public health mission is carried out without harming the quality of the conventional operational response throughout the departmental territory.
