A giant district inspired by Scandinavia and a kindergarten will grow in Brandýs
“People today are looking for ways to combine work and family, to live in the city, but at the same time be within reach of nature. Our project will offer quiet living with sophisticated architecture, a large amount of greenery and a wide range of services just a few kilometers from Prague, “says Tomášřík, owner and founder of DOMOPLAN, which is behind the Na Mariánské cesty project.
As part of the construction of a new residential area in the growing southern part of the city, a total of 321 apartments will be built, connecting the infrastructure inspired by the Nordic lifestyle, which is known for its emphasis on community life and ecology.
The construction will take place in two stages and will last approximately three years. The first stage will start in Brandýs nad Labem next year and should be completed in the autumn of 2024. The second part of the construction will start at the end of next year and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2025.
“We designed the Na Mariánské cesta complex to respect the character of the surrounding buildings, and at the same time evoke intimacy and a human scale in the residence. Eight four-storey apartment buildings with three above-ground apartment floors and one underground garage floor will be built on a 4.6-hectare plot of land. In an effort to make the apartments as sunny as possible, the facades are designed in the form of dynamically alternating loggias and French windows, ”describes Dagmar Zvoníčková from Studio Identity Design, which prepared the apartment designs.
Inspiration from the Scandinavian lifestyle runs through the entire Na Mariánské cesta project and is also clearly reflected in the landscaped courtyard.
In addition to the amount of greenery in which residents will find places to relax and meet neighbors, in the green courtyard there will be common seating currently popular grill-points and the project also includes a sauna with a cooling pond, yoga mat or community garden.
“Exterior modifications inspired by natural character were a pleasant refreshment for us as creators. The project itself gave us the opportunity to place the theme of Nordic nature with an emphasis on ecology in the context of our landscape, which in itself represents an innovative approach to similar development projects, “say the garden architects Kamila and Přemysl Krejčiřík. , workout zone or sports field.
Kindergarten the whole city
As part of the project, DOMOPLAN will also build a new kindergarten near the apartment complex on the basis of a contract with the town hall in Brandýs nad Labem Stará Boleslav.
“The kindergarten will serve all the inhabitants of the city and we plan to complete it by the end of 2023. It will be a one-storey two-class building. We are pleased that the place will come to life even more in this way and bring further benefits to the inhabitants, “explains Josef Molnár, chief project manager at the Mariánské cesta project.

The cost of building a kindergarten with an area of 442 square meters, which will follow the design of the entire apartment complex, should amount to approximately thirteen million crowns.
The apartments in the Na Mariánské cesta residence will be large in size – from smaller studios to large family apartments. The architects in the project use the so-called concept of flexi flats, where people can choose the layout solution for selected units and, for example, divide the flat into several rooms by a partition.
DOMOPLAN will provide everything from technical documentation to the sale of apartments. Their prices range from three to nine million crowns, depending on the size, and people can book them now.
