Qatar Airways will be flying to Zurich more often from January
From mid-January, Qatar Airways will operate ten times a week between Doha and Zurich instead of once a day. Several other destinations are also served over the winter.
Qatar Airways is reacting to the higher booking demand expected or already occurring over the winter season and is significantly increasing the frequencies in the flight plan. A total of 18 destinations worldwide should therefore be served more often. In addition to two completely new destinations, Zurich is also receiving a substantial increase in frequencies, just like the airline in one Press release announced. Some other destinations in Europe are also benefiting from the expansion of the flight movements of the Gulf airline.
Two new destinations in the route network
Qatar Airways is expanding its own route network one more time and is particularly expanding its frequencies. So it goes from Doha to a total of 18 destinations worldwide, with which the Qataris want to react to the increased demand over the holidays and winter season. With the Ukrainian city of Odessa there is also a completely new destination in the flight plan of the Gulf airline, which has been served three times a week since December 9th.
Qatar Airways will also currently fly to Tashkent in Uzbekistan from January 17th next year, twice a week. In addition to the two new destinations, the increased frequencies to the other destinations also include Zurich, which is also to be served more often. To fly a total of ten times a week to the German capital city of Qatar Airways from January 1st, instead of once a day as before.
Other destinations to which Qatar Airways will fly several times within Europe are Berlin, also with ten weekly flights, from January 16, 2022. From December 15, Paris will be served three times a day instead of twice a day. Since December 2nd, London has been flying to five times a day instead of four times a day and that until January 31, 2022. In addition, Helsinki Airport is to be served ten times a week instead of once a day from January 1st next year. Qatar Airways reiterated that Qatar Airways will also maintain its flexible booking policy, which includes “unlimited changes to travel dates and destinations as well as free refunds for all tickets issued by May 31, 2022”.
