Thousands in Bregenz, Salzburg and Linz on the street «kleinezeitung.at
After another large demonstration on Saturday in Vienna, several demonstrations passed through cities across the country on Sunday. Thousands of people have come together in Bregenz, compared to just 100 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs.

A demonstration against the Corona measures in Bregenz was very popular on Sunday afternoon. Around 9,000 people took part, said a police spokeswoman for the APA. The demo – it was still going on in the late afternoon – has been going on so far “without special occurrences”. Families and a noticeably large number of young people also confronted one another among the many participants.
“Never again dictatorship”, “My body – my decision”“Your politics scares us” – these were some of the slogans on the banners. The demonstration march started at the Festspielhaus, then went through the city center to the Landhaus and should finally end again at the Festspielhaus. A large demonstration took place on Sunday also through Graz. The balance sheet after the demo on Saturday in Vienna was 771 ads.
In Salzburg and Linz around 4,500 and around 1,000 people gathered for protests on Sunday. While in Salzburg after three rallies Walk with 4,500 people in the old town, there were around 1,000 people on Martin-Luther-Platz in Linz at around 3 p.m. who demonstrated against the compulsory vaccination and corona measures. In Linz the demonstration ends in the late afternoon, there was 32 ads, 28 of them due to missing FFP2 mask, three due to disorder and one due to a violation of decency.
Small demos also in Lower Austria
There were also smaller demonstrations in Lower Austria. About 600 participants got together on Sunday afternoon “Demo for Freedom” in St. Pölten found, to which the FPÖ had also called. Police spokesman Heinz Holub-Friedreich reported on request of a peaceful course. There was an arrest and a few charges for the time being.
The protesters had each other at the sound tower in the government district together. As a result, a march through the city was planned. Ende should die for a rally registered for 3,500 people at their place of departure.
There are also rallies against the Corona measures on Sunday in Lower Austria in Amstetten and Waidhofen ad Ybbs took place. 500 or 100 participants were counted according to the police.
