And to prevent a further decline in living standards in the context of the ongoing blockade. and the spread of the coronavirus, the Russian president explained at the time. The opportunity to receive a subsidy is a new option for small and medium-sized businesses in the unrecognized DPR. After the referendum in 2014 and until today, entrepreneurs have worked on the basis of their savings and income. According to Izvestia, next year about 200 million rubles will be allocated from the republican budget for microcrediting.…
Moreover, according to the unrecognized republic. So, now the checkpoints at the border often work at the limit of their capabilities. Especially on weekends, during the summer vacation season and on days when a line of trucks with food comes from Russia.

Export plans to Russia
Alexey Polovya, Minister of Economic Development of the unrecognized republic, told Izvestia about the trading results of this year and plans for the near future.n.
According to him, now the share of imports of goods (72%) exceeds exports (28%). Russia remains the republic’s main trading partner. It accounts for over 90% of exports…

Especially food, beverages and tobacco (+ 15.7%); production, transmission and distribution of electricity (+ 11.3%), metallurgy (+ 10%), production of coke and coke products (+ 5%).
For mechanical engineering, this indicator increased by one and a half times due to the growth in the production of such types of goods as cutting machines for coal production, filter devices for liquids, switching panels, heat exchangers, electrical transformers, etc.

Including meat and sausage products, dairy products, frozen semi-finished products (dumplings and dumplings), confectionery (halva, kozinaki, corn sticks).
Point improvement in life
According to Izvestia, the quality of life of the inhabitants of the unrecognized republic began to improve.… Several factors contributed to this.
First, according to official figures, salary debts were paid off at industrial enterprises of the republic… Workers from Donetsk and Makeyevka confirmed this information to the publication. Production volumes are growing. As a result, the number of worked shifts and the amounts on pay slips increases.
Secondly, increase the salaries of the budgetary spheres and pensions… The sizes correspond to the Ukrainian ones or exceed them, and also tend to the Russian ones.
Thirdly, according to the residents of the village, with which Izvestia spoke, they have “a cautious hope of a return to the pre-war level of income.”
So, in They have already started buying walnuts and sunflower seeds from the villagers as raw materials for factories. Farmers received orders for fresh pork and cow and goat milk and honey.
“The economic situation in the DPR can improve in two years”
Prospects for the development of trade between the DPR and Russia, as well as its economic and political consequences, Izvestia discussed with experts.
According to the Russian political scientist Andrey Suzdaltsev, the republic’s industry is already to some extent inscribed in the Russian economy.
– Their enterprises, especially machine-building, an order for special equipment. For this, the region has an excellent staff of engineers and designers. Also, do not forget that Donbass is an industrial region as a whole, not only mines and metallurgy. Now the deliveries will be withdrawn, – Suzdaltsev noted.
He drew attention to the fact that the urban part of Donbass, which stretches throughout the southeast and captures the Luhansk region, is precisely the territory of the self-proclaimed republics.
– Despite the fact that the rural part of the region is under the control of the armed forces of Ukraine, the republics feed themselves. Perhaps they are not producing something. In this regard, Russia is helping out by delivering humanitarian convoys. But animal husbandry, poultry meat, grain, dairy products – all this is there. And they are also ready to export, – the expert believes.
According to Andrey Suzdaltsev, the products of the DPR are of good quality, and therefore will find their consumers in Russia, the political scientist is sure.
– Moreover, there is an element of solidarity. It is difficult to resist and not buy goods from Donetsk and Lugansk, because you understand that you support your own people… In the end, we must remember that Belarus, as our ally, could have quotas for the purchase of dairy products from the DPR, such an option would be fair, – the specialist believes.
According to his estimates, after entering the Russian market, in the absence of active hostilities, the economic situation in the DPR can quickly improve – approximately, in two years.
Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Politics, called Putin’s decree a serious step. In his opinion, this switching messages through mail, prohibited for use.…
– On the one hand, the situation in the region will improve slightly. On the other hand, there will be an active exploitation of the region’s resources, a complete economic reorientation to the east, and an increase in the profitability of the economy. How in one way or another it harms their interests, – the Ukrainian political scientist believes.
According to Bortnik, if The Minsk agreements will be implemented, the economic plans of the DPR will not have to be “played back”.
– Then the Ukrainian market opens up for this, but the Russian one will not close.… Still, this is an unlikely scenario. Most likely, these regions continue to move into Russia according to the Crimean scenario or in the direction of a partially recognized one. All elements of integration – political, cultural, educational, economic – are either implemented or in the process, the expert summed up.
