– The integration that began in January 2021 involved professional reorganisations affecting a number of institutions, as well as organizational changes in the Office of the President and related departments. The next step in this process is to hand over the new leadership assignments, the president of the Clinical Center said.
The work of Zoltán Szabó and the making of top management decisions in the future will be assisted by two presidential consultants and János Kappelmayer, the head of the Institute of Laboratory Medicine and László Bognár, the director of the Neurosurgery Clinic.
Progressive patient care is extremely dependent on laboratory diagnostic tests. Therefore, this field, the diagnostic profession, must be harmonized and modernized. I will help and coordinate this process in the next period – explained Professor János Kappelmayer.
László Bognár also received a request for presidential advice. The professor primarily assists in the field of manual professions.
– As before, as Vice-President and as Presidential Adviser, I will try to represent the interests of the field and help to rationalize the measures introduced due to the epidemic situation. This is now the best task in COVID care, in the organization of surgeries and in cooperation with anesthesia – László Bognár emphasized.
The former vice president responsible for the conservative professions, Mária Papp, will continue as her vice president of medicine.
– It is an honor for the Center to address the challenges related to professional work in the Clinical Patient Care Unit and to develop the various fields in the future, said Professor Mária Papp, Director of the Department of Gastroenterology.
Judit Kánya, the head of the Department of Internal Medicine Rehabilitation of the Internal Medicine Clinic Building D, also took over her appointment.
“This assignment is a new challenge for me.” We can provide real rehabilitation for debilitated patients bedridden due to internal medicine problems. I can use my decades of experience in the musculoskeletal rehabilitation department for the benefit of patients – Judit Kánya is ill.
Zoltán Bodnár has been appointed the general manager of the internal medicine department of the Internal Medicine Clinic D.
– It is an honor to belong to the Guard of the Department of Internal Medicine. We can do our work in unity on the Gyula Kenézy Campus, but with the Nagyerdei Campus. The patient documentation is uniform, the order of referral is simpler, we can organize multidisciplinary discussions more easily and we may also need patient management – said Zoltán Bodnár.
The work of the President is directly assisted by the newly established Department of Legal and Human Policy, headed by Mariann Oláh-Bácsi.
– The employees of the department have previously performed their duties within the framework of the office of the President, however, by becoming an independent department, it is possible for the case groups to perform the tasks belonging to the department in a more structured way than before, said Mariann Oláh-Bácsi.
In the future, Lajos Barta will head the Management Directorate of the Clinical Center.
– It is a great honor for me to be appointed. My goal is to know the appropriate management framework for the operation of the institution and the patient without care, Lajos Barta emphasized.
Krisztina Istvánovszki has been appointed Director of the Organizational Development and Process Control Directorate by the President of the Clinical Center.
“For me, the assignment means that I can use my experience so far in a project that aims to create a long-term, stable, efficient operating framework,” said the new director.
Szilvia Vincze, the head of the WAV center, has been commissioned for two years to introduce self-developed IT software that best serves clinical needs at the Clinical Center.
Another stage in the development is the establishment of the HIS Competence Center.
– Based on the dedicated tasks of the center, we can also build a health management information system. This could even create a research and development and innovation base that supports our measures to increase the competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of healthcare, making not only patient-centered but also financially sustainable healthcare – Szilvia Vincze answers to hirek.unideb.hu.
