Putin answered the question about the introduction of Russian troops into Ukraine: Politics: Russia: Lenta.ru
The possibility of the introduction of Russian troops into Ukraine was discussed at the beginning of the year, but this has not yet happened. Thus, the question of the existence of a threat to Kiev from Moscow was answered by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a speech at the VTB Capital investment forum “Russia is calling!” Youtube…
According to the head of state, neither Kiev nor Moscow are threatened if relations are improved. “The point is not to bring in troops – not to enter, to fight – not to fight, but the point is to improve relations,” Putin admitted.
He also added that if in the future the interests of all international relations are taken into account, “everything will be fine.”
Earlier in November, The New York Times, citing American and officials, reported that Russia was allegedly ready to invade Ukraine and that Western countries had very little time to prevent it. As noted by the publication, the attack could happen soon enough.
In turn, Bloomberg reported that, according to US intelligence, Russia will attack Ukraine in 2022 from three sides. Ukrainian intelligence claimed that this would happen in late January or early February. The Kremlin said it was not hatching aggressive plans.
