In 2022 the first construction sites on the ring road for Fly Over
The first construction sites on the Thessaloniki ring road to build the Fly Over will be set up within the next year.
In 2022 the first factories must be set up in Thessaloniki ring road to build the Fly Over- east inner regional.
This was signed by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure in a post on social media George Karagiannis.
According to the post of the deputy minister, until December 20, there will be binding offers for the project, which, as he emphasizes, will give “the final answer to the city’s traffic problem in time”.
In January, after the binding offers, the temporary contractor has emerged. “With actions, we remain committed to the development of the country”, concludes the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure.

– AKTOR CONCESSIONS SA
– INTRACAT

We have now entered the final stretch for two emblematic road projects through PPPs in Thessaloniki and Peloponnese.
At the Ministry of Infrastructure & Transport we feel great satisfaction as the systematic work of 2 years bears fruit.
So, until December 20, we will have the binding offers for:
– The Fly Over- Eastern interior regional 373 million €, one of the largest technical projects to be done in Thessaloniki, the final answer to the time traffic problem of the city.
– Kalamata – Rizomylos – Pylos – Methoni 252 million € a key project, which will upgrade the road network of the Peloponnese and will significantly improve the development of the region.
In January we will have the temporary contractor for both projects and in 2022 the first factories will be set up.
