Denmark will flow into the coronary restrictions
Rising corona infection in Denmark is the reason why the Danish government is now proposing new coronary restrictions to get coal on the spread of infection, reports Danish TV2.
The government thus follows the health authority’s recommendation and will on Thursday seek support from the Folketing’s epidemic committee to introduce the restrictions.
– We need to introduce an extension of the use of corona passes and bandages because experts deem it necessary. This is another epidemic we now have. The delta variant is far more contagious, and that challenges us. That is why we need to use these tools, said Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke on Wednesday.
Mouthpiece requirements and corona certificate
The government’s proposed bandage requirement will apply to public transport and shops, which have not been required in Denmark since June.
“The epidemic is still growing, and it is in the whole country,” said Heunicke.
Furthermore, the government will expand the use of corona passports to educational institutions and public workplaces, as well as by hairdressers and tattooists, where people can not keep their distance from each other.
This means that unvaccinated residents must have a valid coronal test to gain access to these sites.
Shorter validity on corona test
Furthermore, the government will reduce the validity of negative corona tests, which means that the fastest is only valid for 48 hours while a PCR test is reduced to a validity of 72 hours.
In addition, it is proposed that the number of requirements for indoor and outdoor events in Denmark increase.
– The limit is 200 for indoor events and 2000 for outdoor events. We will propose in our setting that this be halved so that one can be a maximum of 100 indoors and 1000 outdoors, said Heunicke.
Corona infection is increasing in all regions in Denmark. In the last 24 hours, 4,426 cases of infection have been registered, but which is 82 fewer cases than the infection record from 18 December last year.
