He notes that he is very reluctant to lend to companies that are “just bankers.” Therefore, the capital’s mayor explained, this week another package of support measures for enterprises was adopted.
“The city has created its own guarantee fund in order to provide the city with a guarantee of bank loans, so that they are not afraid to issue loans, firstly, and secondly, to reduce the lending rate by at least one and a half times,” Sobyanin explained.
According to him, the interest rate for small and medium-sized businesses will decrease from today’s 18-20 percent to 11 percent. “This is a good help,” the mayor said.
At the end of October, the Cabinet of Ministers and entrepreneurs discussed state support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) during the exacerbation of the pandemic. The goal of state support for business in the period from COVID-19 is to help it quickly and flexibly adapt to the new conditions of the struggle, to authorize the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
