Russia has published correspondence on Minsk factories, which Kiev deliberately stalled
Ukraine, which NATO is using in an effort to move towards our borders, is increasingly demonstrating its complete refusal to comply with the Minsk agreements. In this, Kiev is indulged by the European guarantors of the peace plan themselves. And that this is really so – it became clear from the correspondence between Sergey Lavrov and his colleagues from France and Germany, published by our Foreign Ministry.
An extraordinary step, but forced. The partners, by the way, were informed about him. The documents reflect the very essence of sabotage. Well, Kiev issues laws that finally lead the settlement to a dead end.
Usually diplomatic correspondence is a purely secret matter. As soon as it is published. In this case, we seem to be dealing with extraordinary impudence. When our partners in the Normandy format not only sabotage the peace process – they also accuse us of sabotaging us.
“We all people. We can say they got it, ”said Sergei Lavrov.
In short: Russia is blamed for the refusal to hold a ministerial meeting on November 11, although Sergey Lavrov initially warned that this day is busy for our partners. At the same time, Paris and Berlin “turned down” the Russian proposals, and here is the wording:
“Your project reflects a large number of assessments with which Germany and France do not agree: in particular, theses about the“ internal Ukrainian ”conflict or the mediating role of Russia along with the OSCE in the Trilateral Contact Group. The text also contains provisions that, undoubtedly, will not find support from the countries of the “Normandy format”, incl. “Establishing a direct dialogue between Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk.”
Which, of course, is strange. When the Minsk agreements were signed, it was about the fact that they were just about a direct dialogue between Kiev and the people’s republics.
“As for the published correspondence. I think she expresses the essence of the issue eloquently enough. This is precisely the essence of the sabotage consistently carried out by the Ukrainian regime in the Minsk agreements. They do not want to fulfill Minsk, but want to rewrite it, ”Sergey Lavrov explained.
And France and Germany, as follows from the following, are playing along with Kiev in this. Those same France and Germany. Now Berlin and Paris are trying to present Russia not as a mediator, but as a party to the conflict. This is exactly what Vladimir Putin spoke about recently.
“Everyone is trying to push us to the implementation of the Minsk agreements. But when we ask our partners a question, including in the Normandy format, what exactly is Russia not fulfilling under the Minsk Agreement, should Russia do? No answer. They are straightforward: we cannot formulate. I’m not joking, this is exactly the kind of dialogue, ”the president said.
They could also point out. For understanding: in the text of the Minsk agreements, the word “Russia” is used only in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian border and border areas. There are no requirements for our country. Any other interpretation, as they say, is enjoyed by the poor.
“The Minsk agreements do not say that Russia is a party to the conflict. We are not such, ”noted Vladimir Putin.
There is no doubt: everyone read what they signed. And what is happening now is a demonstrative rejection of their signatures. In fact, Zelensky said two years ago that the Minsk agreements are not something binding on him. It turns out that this is possible in world politics. People, from whom the fate of the peace process is due to their duty, thwarted it in every possible way – and how much they said during the fall.
“Mr. Lavrov, I say hello to you – we are off the hook of the Minsk agreements. And hello to you, Vladimir Vladimirovich, too, ”said Alexei Arestovich, speaker of the Trilateral Contact Group.
Thanks to the publication of the Russian Foreign Ministry, we know exactly why Kiev has become so emboldened. Bury the Minsk format – approved by the Security Council, was allowed by the European UN guarantees of the Minsk format.
On the courage of such permissiveness, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has developed and approved in the Rada “Fundamentals of State Policy for the Transition Period.” This is, in fact, anti-Minsk.
Presumably, the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as the Russian Crimea, are interested in knowing what plans Kiev is making for them in accordance with the new law.
For example, article 9 cancels amnesty (this is a direct violation of paragraph 5 of the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, a document known as “Minsk-2”).
According to article 10 of the bill, Donbass is awaiting lustration in order to prevent those whom Kiev considers separatists to come to power.
Here’s another thing: Article 21 of the Kiev law envisages the restructuring of debts for pensions and social benefits. Something suggests that the restructuring will not be upward. Meanwhile, the eighth point of “Minsk-2” requires Ukraine to provide social benefits in full.
The list goes on. And this document that crosses out all the usefulness is approved by Europe?
“In Germany, France and Ukraine those politicians who sign the Minsk agreements have already left. Only the Russian side, by and large, remembers what was agreed upon. – analyzes the political scientist Ruslan Bortnik.
To restore its influence, Kiev is preparing a brainwashing. The new law requires the creation of a “Russian occupation” with branches in Donetsk, Lugansk, Simferopol and Sevastopol. To demolish old monuments, replacing them with memorials in honor of the so-called “heroes of the anti-terrorist operation.” To prohibit Russian symbols and introduce the Ukrainian language everywhere, coupled with patriotic – well, as Kiev sees it – education. In short, the bill will legalize the forced Ukrainization of not only Donbass, but also Crimea.
“God forbid, children will start playing with matches. Hotheads in Kiev, they have not disappeared anywhere, in fact, absolutely. – says political scientist Andrei Zolotarev.
Much has been said about this: Kiev wants to return the territory, but not the people. The country is rapidly militarizing. Pumping with imported weapons, numerous NATO exercises in which Ukraine is invited to participate, promises of support. It’s not a fact that they will really support it if it’s fried – but Zelensky is not the first one who was blown away by promises.
“Voyage of the US Secretary of Defense, followed by the UK Secretary of Defense in Ukraine. We must understand that there is the Minsk Agreement, there is an alternative to it – a large-scale war, ”says political analyst Vladimir Kornilov.
Sergei Lavrov and Ann Linde, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, said last week that there is no reasonable alternative to Minsk. Its mission, according to the Minsk agreements, monitors the peace process in Donbass. A process that Kiev, with the approval of the curators, is so keen to disrupt.
“We will not close our eyes to those gross provocations that we see on a daily basis from NATO and more and more often from the European Union, including in its attempts to play along with the militarists in Ukraine,” the Russian Foreign Minister said.
So far, everything is as if in a distorted mirror: Zelensky is looking for the borders of non-existent Russian troops, Washington is preparing sanctions in case of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the Polish prime minister is going to the Baltic States to reflect the threat from the east, as his press secretary put it.
It looks like a theater of the absurd – only in this performance there is a gun hanging on the wall. And how to understand overplaying: if God forbid imitates, this really may be the last act.
