Lyonnais. Sytral suggests you find a name for future high-service buses

A high level of service bus line (BRT) will arrive in 2026 in the agglomeration of Lyon (Rhône). Too long a name for this new mode of transport which links Part-Dieu to Sept Chemins, passing through Villeurbanne, Bron and Vaulx-en-Velin.
So why not give a name to these future lines? Sytral invites the general public to leave proposals until December 17 2021.
The choice is yours! 🚎🙋
Until December 17th, propose THE name that the future High Service Level Bus lines will bear!

To participate in this call for ideas, you must go to the participatory platform “Destinations 2026”, then select ” BRTs: the choice is yours“. Note that you can only participate once (one person = one name proposal).
The inventive names will hold the attention of Sytral, but which specifies all the same: “Even if we have a lot of humor, the proposals too offbeat run the risk of being … failed!” “. All contributions are anonymous.
What is a high-level bus?
A little reminder of what the high service level buses will be:
– A bus line whose performance is equivalent to that of a tram thanks to the priority of traffic lights and the reserved traffic lane.
– A commercial speed equivalent to a tram (15 to 20 km / h).
– High frequencies and regularity guaranteed from 4:30 am to 12:30 am.
– Comfortable and well-equipped stations that replace traditional stops and offer many services (ticketing, real-time passenger information, signage, etc.).
– New generation electric trolleybuses, comfortable, spacious, silent and non-polluting dedicated to this line.
– Scalable accommodation capacity thanks to arrangements allowing vehicles to be replaced by other large ones.
