The latest types of electric cars will be exhibited in the Czech Republic for the first time in two exhibition halls. Some of them premiered at the Munich Motor Show in September this year, others have not yet been broadcast on public at all. One of them is, for example, the Volkswagen ID.5 – a car with an SUV-coupe body, which is technically derived from the ID.4 model.
You can see some cars exhibited in the premiere in our photo gallery.
The organizers of the fair assume that there will also be great interest in a tour of the cheapest electric car Dacia Spring or Tesla Model Y. Renault will reveal more about the launch of the family model Mégane E-Tech on the Czech market, which also applies to the Spanish Cupra and its Born model.
High-performance electric cars – such as the Porsche Taycan or Audi e-tron GT – will also be on display. The ID.Life concept car will undoubtedly be worth attention. This is a model of the future cheap model, which will be offered to customers by three brands – Volkswagen, Seat and Škoda.
There will also be test drives
Jozef Kabana’s design team (formerly “dressed” for Škoda cars) applied a number of interesting ideas here. For example, the front luggage compartment is hidden under a textile cover, which closes with a zipper and in front of it is a box that can be used, for example, to place a coffee machine. The whole interior can then be turned into one large bed and the roof (again made of textile) completely removed.
In addition to electric cars, individual manufacturers also intend to present plug-in hybrid cars.
The cars will not only stand in the exhibition halls. A total of 25 cars of various brands will be able to borrow for the test drive. Of course, electric scooters, bicycles and other vehicles powered by an electric motor will also be tested.
The basic entrance fee to the exhibition is CZK 200, and it is possible to save 50 crowns in advance. It will be open to the average visitor from Friday to Saturday from ten o’clock in the morning until late afternoon.
