Are you a student? Then you should explore the Legacy Handbook. I was one of the lucky ones who recently received financial support from the Købmann Bertel O. Steen scholarship, which distributes funds to young people from the Larvik district as higher education in technical, economic or legal subjects.
A scholarship provides opportunities to spend more time on studies instead of working, and is particularly useful where it is expensive to study, both in terms of housing and tuition fees. Scholarships awarded to students are usually intended to promote opportunities for education in a specific area. The scholarships are often created by people who have wanted to cater for different sections of society. Each year you can apply for over 1500 scholarships and scholarships. The benefit you do not receive is supported by Lånekassen, and is for the most tax-free.
I study BSc in Economics and Business Administration (HA General Business Administration) at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), which consists of economics-administrative subjects. CBS is one of Denmark’s 8 universities, and has over 21,000 students and around 1,500 employees. The school is a highly ranked business school in Northern Europe, and one of the few schools in the world that has “triple-crown” accreditation.
The education mainly consists of subjects that provide a lot of competence in finance, management of organizations, marketing and accounting. I am a socially engaged person, and want to use my education to develop and strengthen areas that contribute to the development of society in a positive and sustainable way.
I thank the Merchant Bertel O. Steens Scholarship for the award. The krone exchange rate is low, and it is quite expensive to live and study in Copenhagen, so the award from the board of the scholarship is a welcome educational contribution!
