The second round of negotiations with Gazprom took place on October 27-29. In talks with the head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, the Republic of Moldova was represented by the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Moldovagaz Vadim Ceban. The parties managed to reach an agreement on the extension of the gas supply contract under the conditions proposed by the Moldovan side. An agreement was also reached to carry out an audit of Moldovagaz’s historical debt to Gazprom.
