Roszdravnadzor has sent instructions to the authorities of the order to the prosecutor’s office about Russians participating in anti-vaccination campaigns, reported “Medvestnik” with reference to the letter of the department.
The document, dated November 1, was signed by the head of Roszdravnadzor Alla Samoilova. In the letter, experts urged to identify citizens who actively oppose vaccinations in the regions.
Information about Russians “spreading deliberately false information about the dangers of vaccination” against coronavirus must be reported to the Investigative Committee of Russia, according to the department. The experts noted that information about anti-vaccinations should fall into the prosecutor’s office and the “investigative authorities of the subject.”
In the opinion of Roszdravnadzor, special attention should be paid to doctors who oppose vaccinations. The actions of activist doctors can be qualified as signs of offenses, responsibility for the services provided by Articles 207.1 (“Dissemination of knowingly false information about circumstances posing a threat to the life and safety of citizens”) and 207.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia and consequences “).
After the “denunciation”, the investigating authorities within three days receive the information in writing to the federal Roszdravnadzor.
