Russia and the United States reported to each other about the two countries of cybersecurity incidents. It is reported by TASS with reference to the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenz.
According to him, Moscow and Washington have restarted the dialogue on cybersecurity, which is being conducted by both sides.
“We, as far as I know, are with the (US) administration to inform each other about any cyber-related incidents,” Nebenzya said.
He also noted that Russia has its own concerns about the actions of members of the United States.
“As I understand it, we have agreed that we will do our best to inform the other side of the concerns they raise,” he continued.
He added that both sides have prepared a UN project on responsible behavior in cyberspace.
Earlier in Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedthat Moscow and Washington agreed to begin consultations on cybersecurity.
Later, the director of the FSB of Russia, Alexander Bortnikov declaredthat the Russian Federation will work with the United States to find hackers.
