The authorities of the Volgograd region have tightened restrictions related to the spread of coronavirus infection for the period of the upcoming non-working days. In particular, access to non-food shops for unvaccinated citizens will be closed. This is reported on website administration of the region.
According to the report, from November 1 to November 7, non-food stores will serve customers only upon presentation of documents on vaccination or previous illness. The requirement will not apply to minors. At the same time, store employees serving visitors must also have documents about vaccinations or previous illness.
In the Volgograd region, since October 25, restrictions on visiting a number of public places have been tightened. In particular, use intercity transport, as well as visit cafes and restaurants who received Russians vaccinated against the coronavirus, as well as those who have a negative PCR test.
Without documents confirming vaccination, it will also be impossible to visit baths and saunas. An exception can be made only for those who have recovered from COVID-19 in the last six months.
On October 20, at a meeting with members of the Russian government, Vladimir Putin, due to the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection, declared non-working days in the country from October 30 to November 7. The head of state also instructed the heads of the regions where the high incidence of COVID-19 is recorded to assess the situation and non-working days a week earlier – starting from October 23rd.
