27th October. Interfax-Russia.ru – Over 47.1 billion rubles will be allocated to the Social Insurance Fund (FSS) to pay benefits for temporary disability in the IV quarter of 2021.
As the press service of the government reported on Wednesday, the corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
“The burden on the fund’s budget has increased.
“It is important that in a situation people can quickly and without delay issue sick leave and receive these payments,” Mikhail Mishustin said at the government’s editorial office on October 22.
The prime minister will implement this order financially to ensure the prompt implementation of the order and transfer the necessary funds to the Social Insurance Fund as soon as possible.
In 2021, the procedure for paying sick leave and maternity benefits was changed. Now they are transferred to citizens directly from the FSS, and not through the employer. From next year, sick leave certificates will be issued only in electronic form, and benefits for them will be calculated automatically.
