The rare Pagani Zonda was demolished near Prague. The early piece for millions ended up in a ditch – AutoRevue.cz
Although Pagani has already produced a number of different variants of its legendary Zonda supersport, it is always an experience to see which specimen is in operation somewhere. It may come as no surprise that you would come across one of the pieces in the Czech Republic as well. Unfortunately, one such piece, probably from Czech ownership, did not turn out very well now.

Video from instagram account superauto.selže shows the demolished Zonda in a ditch by the road, in the area of spiral districts somewhere near Prague. The main news is that no one was seriously injured in the incident. However, the Zonda itself can be seen in the shots heavily damaged in front of its carbon body.
It should probably be one of the early pieces of the Zonda C12 S introduced in 2000, shortly after the premiere of the model in 1999 at the Geneva Motor Show. In the middle of the C12 S you would find a seven-liter V12 AMG with 550 hp (405 kW) and 750 Nm of torque. The analog nature of the supersport is underlined by a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. Acceleration from zero to 100 km / h was then stated by Pagani in 3.7 seconds, maximum speed to 335 km / h.

The probe is now likely to head directly to Italy to Pagani for factory repair of damaged parts. In any case, the Italian brand has had its own renovation workshop Pagani Rinascimento for old models for several years.
