Russia Donates 1.25 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Karabakh Schools and Kindergartens | News | News
The military of the peacekeeping contingent and benefactors delivered 1.25 tons of humanitarian aid to the gardens and schools of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced on Monday, October 25 by the RF Ministry of Defense.
As the representative of the Russian peacekeepers Dmitry Tusidi clarified, educational institutions on the eve of the cold weather were transferred, in particular, warm clothes, stoves, two gas burners, an eight-kilowatt diesel generator.
“They brought soft toys, textbooks, books, stationery, drawing items, educational games for the younger and older groups of the kindergarten,” he added.
Soldiers of the Russian peacekeeping contingent safe harvesting grapes on plantations with a total area of 27 hectares surrounding the demarcation line in Nagorno-Karabakh. Harvesting took place near the settlements Chartar, Machkalashen, Amaras Martuninsky and in the village of Khramort Askeransky for more than a month.
Earlier, on October 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Armenia and Azerbaijan managed to resolve the crisis in Karabakh, but it was necessary to create conditions for a long-term settlement in the region. According to him, Aliyev and Pashinyan, despite all the difficulties, showed political wisdom when they decided to stop the bloodshed in Karabakh. The head of state also did that Russia did everything possible to stop the bloodshed in Nagorno-Karabakh.
In November 2020, Aliyev, Putin and Pashinyan signed an agreement to end hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh. The document, among other things, provides for the introduction of peacekeepers into the regional, exchange of prisoners between the parties to the conflict, the transfer of the region back by Armenia to Azerbaijan and the return of the conflict to Karabakh.
