ALL ANTWERP: “I needed me-time and went four-fifths… (Antwerp)
Every weekday our reporter and photographer pick a casual passer-by off the street for a nice conversation. Want everyone has a story. And certainly in Antwerp. Today: Anne-Lise Domen (57).

“I only work four days a week. That has been a decision. Before the corona crisis, I always had to go to the office in Brussels. That was always a rush. I left by train at 7:30 am and didn’t get home until 7:00 pm. Everything you have to or can do, you have to cram into those two days of the weekend. At one point I said: it’s been good, I have time for myself required. Simply delicious. Today is such a blissful late summer day. This morning I did some shopping and now I’m sitting here with my book in the sun and I have the whole day to myself. That was my dream and I went.”
“I work in a law firm. I do legal contract automation. I have always been in the legal world. What interests me most? The lawsuits we deal with are always about mergers and acquisitions between large companies, about the abuse of high-level positions of power.”
“But today I’m not working. I’m glad tonight my culture season starts again. I have a subscription with deSingel and can finally go back there. It is a dance performance by Ivo van Hove. But I also have a music subscription. I try to pick up just about anything.”
