On March 9, 2021 in Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire, the Prime Minister announced a health investment support plan of 19 billion euros as part of the Ségur de la Santé and France Relance. The regional health agencies were asked to define by October 15 the modalities for the implementation of this plan.
After 6 months of work and consultation, the list of investment projects that will be supported by the State has been drawn up in all regions of France. The government presents it in the weeks which follow the reason for a ministerial trip per week until December to go to hospitals and nursing homes.
