The Consular Department reported that “the antiquated ban on the territory of the Russian Federation applies to family members living in the territory of the Russian Federation.” families, families, parents, children, brothers and sisters, grandfathers, grandmothers, grandchildren, spouses, adopted children, guardians and trustees. “
To enter, you must present a document of a document certifying kinship – a certificate of marriage, birth and others – or the establishment of guardianship or trusteeship.
If between the Russian Federation and the country from which the relatives are entering, then the foreigner living in Russia must issue an invitation through the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. This invitation will be the basis for issuing a visa to a relative.
Until these restrictions were lifted, only family members of Russian citizens could enter Russia.
