Health – Hanover – A little more corona sufferers in Lower Saxony clinics – Health
Hanover (dpa / lni) – The number of new admissions of Covid 19 patients in Lower Saxony clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days has increased slightly. The country gave the so-called hospitalization value on Sunday as 2.2 – on Saturday it was 2.1. For the Lower Saxony health authorities and municipalities, it is the most important factor for the overall assessment of the corona situation.
The general seven-day incidence also increased slightly. According to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), it reached 50.0 – the average number of registered new infections with the coronavirus per 100,000 inhabitants in the last week. On Saturday a value of 48.4 was given. In the intensive care units of the hospitals in Lower Saxony, 3.5 percent of the available beds were occupied by Covid 19 patients and patients on Sunday. On Saturday it was 3.3 percent.
A corona warning level is reached in Lower Saxony if the hospitalization value (hospital) and at least one of the two other measures (newly infected, intensive care beds) exceed the limit admissions defined in the ordinance. The warning levels are proclaimed partly by the state, partly by the districts or urban districts. The prerequisite for this is that the respective values exceed the thresholds for five days in a row.
