New places will be opened for the third round of vaccination at the St. Anna Street Vaccination Center from Monday – with video
Debrecen – Due to deteriorating epidemic data, experts encourage everyone to take the vaccine. An example is neighboring Romania, where hospitals are already filled with covidium patients due to low vaccination coverage.
On Saturday morning, the registrants also arrived at the St. Anna Street Vaccination Center. Since the beginning of September, mainly the hamrad dose vaccine has been given here.
The booster dose is mainly recommended for the elderly and chronic patients, but it can be given to anyone who has had four months after the second vaccination. Experience has shown that more and more young people are coming to the vaccination center.
– I got the third vaccine. I thought I would add this too, because it gives more security – said Péter Imre Varga.
Five hundred doses of vaccine per day for the third round are available at the St. Anna Street Vaccination Center. This number was reached on Friday, so they are expanding: from Monday, if more more arrive, a new vaccine will be opened.
Experts say it would also be important to vaccinate those who have not yet applied for a coronavirus vaccine. In low-vaccinated countries as the fourth wave has already exploded.
– In the case of Romania, we see that health can saturate very quickly. Let’s not expose our organization or Hungarian healthcare to this just because we don’t take the vaccine – emphasized Csaba Papp, director of the Debrecen Institute for Primary Care and Health Development.
The two clinical vaccination centers have 1,300 doses of vaccine available every day, but anyone can also ask their GP for vaccinations.
