Covid19. The epidemic continues to decline in the Nord and Pas-de-Calais

The news is still pretty good on the the Covid-19 epidemic. While health measures will be lightened in the North on Monday, October 11, 2021, we are update on the latest figures in Nord and Pas-de-Calais.
The virus is still circulating less
The circulation of the virus continues to slow down in the two departments. Incidence rates continue to drop, with 39 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the North on October 6, 2021 and 20 in Pas-de-Calais.
This rate is still a little higher in the metropolis of Lille, at 55.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Hospitalizations are also decreasing
In hospitals, too, the situation continues to improve. In the North, hospitalizations are still down, with 233 Covid patients hospitalized on October 6, 30 less than two weeks ago. In Pas-de-Calais, we remain at a stable level with 120 hospitalized patients.
In intensive care too, the number of Covid patients is decreasing and reaching very low levels, as before the summer epidemic wave. As of October 6, on the account thus 45 patients of the coronavirus in the intensive care units of the North, and 12 in the Pas-de-Calais.
Currently, 4.3 million inhabitants of Hauts-de-France are fully vaccinated according to the ARS, or 80% of the total population of the region.
