An impressive catch in Calais
When the police were able to access the trailer, they discovered numerous boxes and sports bags. Inside, officers seized 172 kilograms of MDMA, 145 kilos of cannabis resin, 31 kilos of cocaine and finally, 2 kilos of heroin.
The market value of these hundreds of kilos of hard drugs is estimated around the 4 million euros. the JDD reveals that the truck driver would have denied the facts during his hearing, stating that he was unaware of the contents of the trailer. He will be tried on February 20.
