22 people died and 670 were tested positive in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced.
The youngest victim was 29 years old, from Bălți and was hospitalized in the Republican Clinical Hospital “Timofei Moșneaga”. Health authorities claim that the young woman suffers from obesity.
Among the infected are five doctors, two nurses and two auxiliary staff.
In total, according to the MoH, 3,966 tests were performed. Of the total number of cases, two are associated with contact abroad, one case from Romania and Germany.
2,212 people with COVID-19 are hospitalized in hospital medical institutions, of which 198 in extremely serious condition and 10 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
The balance of COVID-19 cases in the Republic of Moldova reached 306,647. In total, 288,915 people were treated by COVID-19, and 7,024 died due to complications caused by the virus.
