As follows from the statement from the statement of the department, the said message from entrepreneurs is insufficient measures in the safety management system (SMS).
“It is required to make corrective decisions in the organizational structures, in the hierarchy of each division of the airline involved in the organization of flights,” the Federal Air Transport Agency called.
It is noted that since August of this year, the department has been checking 35 airlines. As a result, inconsistencies with the requirements of federal aviation regulations were revealed. For example, the untimely passing of qualification tests of cabin crews, as well as poor organization of work and management personnel.
Earlier in September, the All-Russian Association of Passengers (PLO) called on Transport Minister Vitaly Savelie to suspend the issuance of new flight permits to Ural Airlines and Yakutia due to flight safety violations and systematic flight delays. According to the chairman of the PLO Ilya Zotov, the restrictions will normalize the work of companies and motivate compliance with the established rules.
