The Southern District Military Court began the trial in the case of the killer Aslan Gagiev, nicknamed Dzhako. On Monday, October 4, a representative of the court informed Lente.ru about this.
Gagiev, who represents before the court, whom the “Organization of the criminal community of Russia” is recruited by the media outlet, is charged under articles 210 (“Organization of a criminal community”), 209 (“Banditry”), 105 (“Murder by a group of persons by prior conspiracy”) and 222 (“Illegal storage of “weapons”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, Gagiev in 2004 created one of his own organized crime groups in the country, consisting mainly of killers.
The group operated on the territory of Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in North Ossetia-Alania. The organized criminal group included at least 50 people.
Later, in 2012, Gagiev created separate armed cells that operated on the territory of North Ossetia. At least six locals. One of them was the Deputy Prosecutor of the Industrial District of Vladikavkaz.
At the time of the investigation it is known about 49 episodic activities of the gang. 24 members of the group received their sentences, some were sentenced to life. 12 more bandits are awaiting their verdict. Gagiev has been hiding from law enforcement officers since 2014. In 2015, he was detained in Venice. The procedure for extraditing the accused to Russia took three years.
