He travels by subway with a balaclava on his head and makes beats. Who is Josef K. and why is he connected to line B?
Metro is an ordinary means of transport for ordinary Praguers, which is fast, accessible and relatively safe. However, for some individuals they can also have a mysterious or even mystical effect, as you can read in our conversation with the train driver and the mystic, for some it is a means self-expression. Our favorite means of transport is also affected by our September FRESH RAP, the respondent for this month answers we fell into the last group mentioned above.
As we recently used, transmission B often crosses for sure Josef K. Whatever his motive for writing an album about one of the three underground subway lines, we were fascinated by his often metaphorically interwoven speech his sound, which is strikingly reminiscent of Supercrooo whether early Huga Toxxxe and, in our opinion, up to the “yellow” meter. So we decided to contact her, ask her a few things and give him a little introduce.
Nevertheless, we will not tell his story; Josef K. closes his identity to darkness, behind which he can also be imprisoned within the framework of Prague graffiti scene. He also claims that the main message should be rap, and therefore he did not reveal more than he had to about his personal life. He replied in plural, although we should be one person who does not appear in public other than with balaclava on his head. The composition of the complete picture of such an interview is interpreted by the interview below, which he gave us.
Do you call yourself Josef K. Is it a real abbreviation of your real name and surname, or a pseudonym?
We don’t know, can the abbreviation of a real name and a surname be a pseudonym?
Could you introduce yourself further? Tell your story, where are you from, what are you doing?
Josef K. is primarily rap, he is from Prague and he lives by the fact that someone or something embodies him with his energy. What is a bit of a relative term in the case of music … Is sound a matter?
From what I’ve heard, you seem to be a fan of Prague’s underground tunnels and trains. Why is this your main motive and what does it mean to you?
The metro, as a means of transport, is a type of railway. It is certainly not the main motif of Josef K., but only the intersection of several axes of space-time, which for many reasons resulted in the album Linka B.
How did you get into rap? Would you portray from the beginning?
