A room is named after Magda Szabó in the Csokonai Literary Laboratory
Debrecen – On the closing day of the Magda Festival, the writer will also be commemorated at the Dóczy High School and the resting place of Magda Szabó.
In memory of the writer from Debrecen, Magda Szabó will be nominated by the Podium Hall of the Csokonai Literary Laboratory on the closing day of the Magda Festival. Deputy Mayor István Puskás will give a greeting at the inauguration on October 5 from 6 p.m.
Finally, Ibolya Mészáros, artist of the Csokonai Theater, hosts Beáta Adorján, playwright of the door, director Linda Dombrovszky, screenwriter who adapted Magda Szabó’s Pilate to the film, and actor Anna Ráckeve.
From 5 pm, the recently completed Magda Szabó calendar book, the most unique piece in the PlanAll series, will be presented in an online chat. Györgyi Porkoláb, socio-cultural mediator and editor of the annual planner of PlanAll, talks about the deadline and reading diary with actors Anna Kubik, Edit Majzik, Anna Ráckevei and Klári Varga.
The film installation of the film Simultaneous City of Hajnal Németh can be seen at MagdaFest on Mondays and Tuesdays in the Club Room of the Csokonai Literary Laboratory.
István Puskás, the deputy mayor responsible for culture, will give a wreath at the memorial plaque on the wall of the Dóczy Grammar School on October 5 at 10 am – in honor of the Debrecen writer’s oeuvre. Part of the series of events of the Matula Days, instead of a wreath on behalf of the city, in the Public Cemetery in Debrecen at the burial place of Magda Szabó’s parents, where the writer’s ashes also rest.
