According to the immunologist, the mu option does not have the particular advantages that have helped it take a dominant position in Russia. At the same time, the Indian strain of the coronavirus is highly infectious. “The infectivity of the delta strain is very high. In comparison with the Wuhan strain, there is a huge leap in infectivity, ”Kryuchkov approved.

Only its own “descendants” will take the place of the Indian strain of the coronavirus in Russia, the specialist said. “I think that for quite a long time it will be the“ descendants ”of the delta coronavirus line that will dominate in Russia.
