EUROCERT inaugurated the new privately owned offices in Thessaloniki
EUROCERT, held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 the inauguration of the new, privately owned, modern offices of Thessaloniki, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Macedonia-Thrace, Mr. Stavros Kalafatis, the Executive Council of the Region of Macedonia in matters of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Mr. as a representative of the Regional Governor, the Member of Parliament A ‘Thessaloniki, Mr. Konstantinos Gioulekas and the President of the Association of Industries of Northern Greece, Mr. Konstantinos Savvakis. The official guests, the collaborators and the audience that attended the event, were welcomed by the President and the Managing Director of EUROCERT, Mr. George Briskolas. During the greeting of the President of the school company, that he is particularly happy for the new writings of EUROCERT in Thessaloniki, which mark a big step, part of a constantly upward course, which began 23 years ago. Continuing his speech, he added: “EUROCERT is constantly growing, in terms of financial results, geographical spread, human resources and range of Certification services provided. It operates either through subsidiaries or through local partners in 40 countries around the world, from China to Peru and from the US and Europe to the Gulf countries. It employs 500 people directly and as external partners and certifies all sectors of production and economy “.
Then spoke the Deputy Minister of Macedonia-Thrace, Mr. Stavros Kalafatis, who continues EUROCERT for important steps it takes after the Covid era and its continuous development as well as for the new jobs created by the opening of its new offices. At the same time, he referred to the redefinition of the role of society and entrepreneurship due to the pandemic but also to the importance given to the development strategy, such as the digital transformation of the State. In closing, commenting on the importance of extroversion, in which EUROCERT also invests, but also the opportunity to redesign the economic and development model of the next day, moving away from the linear model and moving on to the analysis of the circular economy.
The Authorized Advisor of the Region of Macedonia in Issues of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Nikos Tzolas, stressed the important effort of the Region of Central Macedonia to promote entrepreneurship in combination with the research potential that is developing in the Region.
