The schedule and results of the internationals during the September break
Boosted by their first victory in Ligue 1 in Troyes (2-1) before the first break of the season, the Monegasque internationals have a busy schedule with their selections during the international break. A look.
Eight matches already played by AS Monaco players in August! When they join their respective teams for the first international break, the Red and Whites have already started their season well. After the two barrage rounds in the Champions League and Ligue 1, it is now up to the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in particular for certain proteges of Niko Kovac.
His progress was very good last season and I am not surprised that he was selected for the Euro Espoirs. If he continues to work, if he listens carefully, he will certainly go to the France A team one day. I know he’s smart and knows what it takes to make it happen.
About Aurélien Tchouameni before the first leg against Donetsk
A first with the Blues for Tchouameni
Eight players from the pro group have indeed joined the base camp of their national team, to prepare for the matches which will follow one another from this Wednesday, September 1. Among them, Aurélien Tchouameni will live his first meeting with the Blues of Didier Deschamps. The best recuperator (220 scratched balls) and tackler of the European Big 5 since the beginning of the year 2021, thus had his first cap against Bosnia-Herzegovina by playing the entire second period in the framework of the European qualifiers for the next World Cup in Qatar.

Aleksandr Golovin will join Russia to also play three qualifying matches in Group H, while Strahinja Pavlović has been called up again with Serbia, also in progress. Guillermo Maripán has an appointment with Chile for the South American qualifiers. But the Monegasques are also very well represented in the hopeful selections, with four young people engaged in the course for Euro 2023 in the category.
