Believe it or not: the “most fun” city in the world – is in the country
A new survey, which ranks the 37 ‘best’ cities in the world, chose Tel Aviv as the “most fun” city in the world.
The survey, published annually in the prestigious London culture magazine Time Out, also ranked the city as eighth among the cities in the world in the overall ranking of cities, due to its activity at the Corona box office.
The first and most coveted place in the main ranking is San Francisco in California, USA. After her on the list you will not find Amsterdam from the Netherlands, Manchester in the UK and more. The city that closes the list is Bangkok in Thailand, which was especially 37th.
Tel Aviv came in eighth place on this list, among Prague in the Czech Republic (7th place) and Porto in Portugal (9th place). According to the list, it is the largest city in the Middle East, and a lot about the prestigious Dubai – which ranks only 26th in the overall rankings.

In the ‘fun’ ranking, Tel Aviv won first place – for the second time in a row, when the most respondents chose it as ‘a city that is good for people like me’. Tel Aviv also received the second and most honorable place in the ‘food’ ranking, after Shanghai in China.
Those who give the ranking to the different cities in the variety of categories, are tens of thousands of tourists and residents happy their opinion as to the different angles of each city. In this case, about 27,000 respondents responded regarding information, culture, community life, diversity, general happiness, community projects, green spaces and more.
According to the magazine’s editors, “When the Corona turned into a tourism industry, the city of Hitechstein did a ‘restart’. The epidemic caused the ‘city without a break’ to take a necessary break. Places like Dizengoff Square and Railway Park hosted picnics, shows, funds and swimming.
