Prague – Hundreds of Harley-Davidson bikers will pass through the center of the capital today. The sleepy ride of eight hundred motorcycles is part of the ninth year of the Prague Harley Days event, which takes place from Friday to Sunday at the Holešovice Exhibition Center. Harleyers will start from the fairgrounds at 10:00, cross the highway, stop for a few minutes on Wenceslas Square and then continue in the direction of Charles Square and along the embankment back to Holešovice, the event organizer Michal Šesták told ČTK.
The sleepy ride has been one of the most popular points of the program since the first years of the Prague Harley Days, both for the riders themselves and for other visitors to the event, as well as for Praguers or tourists. In addition to the Sportsters, there will also be other unique machines, interesting conversions and other modifications to motorcycles. Harleyers from various parts of the Czech Republic, but also from Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Russia, France and Italy come to the event every year.
But the Prague Harley Days are events not only for fans of Harley-Davidson machines. In addition to motorcycles or a free trial ride, visitors will also be offered concerts, prize competitions and the culinary Burgerfest. The adrenaline program will be provided by an FMX show or a pole dance competition.
