There are a total of approximately 316 thousand IT experts in the Czech Republic. But there are many more in the market. We believe that there are about 14,000 IT professionals to bring the market to a standard level playing field, and this is constantly increasing, according to Andrew Elliott, co-founder of the techloop.io platform, which specializes in IT professionals and companies. Experts estimate that there are now 15 and 20 thousand IT specialists on the Czech market.

The companies are undergoing a digital transformation due to the pandemic pandemic, and the demand for cloud power is constantly growing, explains Dominik Hdl, SVP CIO EMEA & Americas of Monstarlab. In addition to development positions, they are also looking for experts in quality and testing. And demand experts in data analysis and processing. The specialty is machine learning experts. According to Hdl, they have either a directly studied field of study or, for example, a doctorate in mathematics. It is therefore a very professional specialization.
