Thanks to the new measure, some black passengers will become paying passengers

The black passenger uses public transport at the expense of paying passengers. That’s not exactly fair. And we don’t like it either. But everyone can forget sometimes. When that happens and the black passenger shows that he wants to be a paying passenger, we will waive part of the fine for that if he buys an annual coupon and comes to pay the fine within five working days at the post-paid cash register or pays it via the DPP e-shop online.

The black passenger can reduce the fine to CZK 800, if he decides to improve and become an honest paying passenger. The surcharge cash desk is open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A cheaper fine just for the annual coupon

A black passenger can reduce the cheaper fine only by purchasing an annual coupon for CZK 3,650 with a record of personal data in the carrier’s database – i.e. with a card containing the passenger’s photo, name and date of birth, and these data are in the carrier’s or card issuer’s database. This is to ensure that the document issued for the fine and the annual coupon are correctly matched.
