Eight drunken hulks wanted to take a taxi in Prague, the driver refused and had to run
An attack on Dukelských hrdinů Street in Prague 7 was reported by a taxi driver on Saturday around 4 am. Police spokesman Jan Daněk informed about the case on Monday.
According to him, a group of foreigners ordered a taxi for six people, but eight men wanted to be accommodated on the spot.
“The driver did not want to take so many people and there was a conflict. The foreigners were drunk and had to start attacking the drivers. He ran away from the car in front of them because they had the upper hand. When the men left, he returned to the car and found that he was missing several thousand crowns from his wallet and jacket, “said the spokesman.
The intervention detained eight foreigners due to the attack on the taxi driver.

Thanks to camera recordings and other information, the police officers immediately managed to find out that a group of foreigners was accommodated in an apartment in Krakovská Street in Prague 1.
“Given that this is such a large group of physically well-disposed men, to whose arrest police officers from special law enforcement units and emergency motorized units were invited,” Daněk specified.
Police detained the suspects in a dormitory.
