Croatia Airlines will start flying from Prague to Split
The line will be in operation only during the summer season once a week, ticket prices are significantly lower compared to Smartwings.
At the end of June, the Croatian company Croatia Airlines will become the second carrier to offer a direct air connection between Prague and Split. It will fly once a week.
The carrier announced the start of the new line on its website today. For the time being, it will fly once a week, on Saturday from June 26. They are scheduled only until September 11. In particular, the price will be a competition for Smartwings flights, which count on a daily connection from June. The cheapest return tickets start at CZK 3,700.
For Smartwing, the prices for most of the summer start at six thousand crowns for the return flight, but compared to the Croatian competition, they offer more flights.
The flight schedule provides for departure at 21:05 from Prague and arrival at 22:30 to Split, from Croatia at 18:30 with arrival at 20:05. Installs the Airbus A319 carrier. In addition to the route to Split, Smartwings is planning flights to Dubrovnik, Croatia this year, and Ryanair to Zadar.
The connection to Croatia by public transport is waiting for another expansion this year in the form of a new RegioJet line by train from Prague to Split, which fulfills the connection to Rijeka, which was opened last year.
