Prague tomorrow: Florenc 21 | Center for Architecture and Urban Planning (CAMP)
What changes await the surroundings of the bus station in Florence? How can Praguers and visitors to the city participate in its transformation? After all, it is the locals and passengers who are to serve the future. At the end of March, the majority landowners, ČSAD Praha holding and Masaryk Station Development, together with the capital city of Prague, announced the international urban competition Florenc 21. Its jury will include world-class architects such as Winy Maas, founder of MVRDV, and famous Dutch urban planner Christiaanse, whose KCAP office is located in the HafenCity district of Hamburg. Together with other experts, they will look for a suitable proposal for a new layout of the territory. This is an important step for the development of Prague’s inner brownfield. In the debate, we will discuss the issue of this key transport hub, which is located most in the center of the capital. The record of the joint discussion will then serve as one of the sources for the competition.
