Where to go for a test? Prague has launched a website with an overview of sampling points for tests on COVID-19
Where in Prague are the next available dates for testing at COVID-19, how much will the self-payer pay for the test or how to book an appointment? The Prague City Hall has launched a new website covid.praha.eu with an overview of information on consumption points in the capital.
The application, which was created on the Golemio data platform in Prague, is intended to make it easier for people to find places to test. On the web, they can filter the subscription points according to whether it should be a test with a request or paid, whether they require a reservation or whether it should be, for example, a subscription in the car (drive-in). Interested parties can sort the collection points by address, opening hours, price for the test or the nearest available date.
A map and other testing information will be displayed at the collection points. Where there is a possibility of online booking, the website offers a link to the registration form. “The plan is to expand with additional information, such as estimating the waiting time in the queue at places without a reservation system, the availability of test certificates at a given place, or finding the nearest place according to your current location,” write the authors.
The application draws data mainly from the websites of individual collection points, from the website koronavirus.mzcr.cz/seznam-odberovych-center/ whether from individual reservation systems.
The municipal company ICT Operator, which created the website for Prague, manually checks and edits the data once a day. It also provides data publicly in the form of an API.
