A parking house for 600 cars is to be built next to the station at the Zličín depot.
A new station will be built in the Prague metro. Dopravní podnik hl. The City of Prague (DPP) has announced a competition for a designer who will prepare new stops at the Zličín Depot. This will be the new final line B. It will be the 62nd station in the metro.
The announcement of the competition follows from the information on the contracting authority’s profile, a Facebook profile pointed it out Tomas Mach. This is not a new plan, it has been talked about for three years. But now he has advanced to a much more advanced stage.
The concept of the station at the depot is not new in Prague, it is known at line A, where trains end at the Depo Hostivař station. In the case of Zličín, there would be a connection with the planned large P + R car park. It is to arise in Na Radosti at the intersection with Mišovická Street.
“In terms of station layout, variants of a single-track station with a side platform and a double-track station with an island platform are considered, access from the P + R building by a fixed staircase in combination with a barrier-free ramp, or with an elevator. The station assumes unattended, with appropriate equipment, “ it is stated in the order documentation prepared by Metroprojekt. The new car park is to have about 600 places, and the station would also serve the adjacent apartment buildings.
DPP does not have new stations created on its website or in the list of strategic projects, nor is it clear when it should start. The estimated price for the project is 93.5 million crowns.
