Dvořák will manage Czech Aeroholding. He set off an avalanche of further changes
Miroslav Dvořák will be the CEO of Czech Aeroholding, which will cover the subsidiaries of Prague Airport, Czech Airlines, Holidays Czech Airlines, Czech Airlines Technics, Czech Airlines Handling and CSA Services, as of November 1. On the same date, he resigns from his current position of CEO of Prague Airport and President of Czech Airlines (CSA). Jiří Pos will be the new head of Prague Airport, and Philippe Moreels will replace Dvořák as president.
“My role in the new position of the parent company of Czech Aeroholding will be primarily to coordinate, financially manage and implement synergies within the entire group,” says Dvořák, who has been the Chairman of the Board of Aeroholding since March. From November, Dvořák will also replace Michal Mejstřík as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Czech Airlines.
From 2007 to 2011, Dvořák was the CEO and from 2008 to this year also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prague Airport. In addition, from 2009 to 2011, he held the position of President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Czech Airlines. Prior to that, he worked at the Czechoslovak Commercial Bank, where he worked in management positions since 1992, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Private Banking.
Dvořák also brings his management team to Czech Aeroholding.
Petr Vlasák will be the Chief Financial Officer (1st Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Czech Aeroholding), Marta Guthová (Member of the Board of Directors) will take up the position of Chief Executive Officer for Central Purchasing, Sales and Marketing and Josef Adam (Member of the Board of Directors) will become Chief Financial Officer. ICT and legal affairs. As of November 1, 2011, all three managers will also leave their current positions at Prague Airport and Czech Airlines. Petr Vlasák ends as the Chief Financial Officer for Prague Airport, Marta Guthová resigns as Chief Executive Officer for Non-Aviation Trade, Operations and Purchasing at Prague Airport and Josef Adam resigns as Vice President for ICT, Personnel and Legal Affairs of Czech Airlines.
Czech Aeroholding in its final form has seven subsidiaries and equity of 30 billion crowns. The government opened the way for its establishment on 19 February, when it decided to invest 50 crowns in the newly emerging company from part of the property of the Prague Airport Authority. One of the main goals of the connection between Prague Airport and CSA is operational and financial savings. All components of Czech Aeroholding will be commercially independent.
The first subsidiary included in the holding is Prague Airport. Over the next four to five months, CSA’s subsidiaries will be gradually transferred to it, the spokesmen said, adding that the airlines themselves will be the last to arrive, probably in the first half of next year.
Dvořák’s successors – Pos and Moreels
Following the personnel changes within Czech Aeroholding, the management of Prague Airport will also change completely from 1 November. It will be managed by Jiří Pos, who has been working here since 2006 and has previously been in charge of aviation trade, operations and asset management. Prior to that, he worked for CSA for twenty years. The top management of Prague Airport will now consist of division directors Jozef Sinčák and Martin Hlava.

Pos will be in charge of key business, ie aviation trade, as well as property management, product development and marketing. Jozef Sinčák will be the director of the non-aeronautical trade and finance division and Martin Hlava will be the director of the air traffic and safety division.
The last name in the staff is Philippe Moreels. He will replace Dvořák as CSA President. He has been with the company since November 2009, first as Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Economics. At the same time, from 1 December 2009 to 31 March 2011, he was the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Czech Airlines. He has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Czech Airlines since 1 April 2011, and also serves as Vice President for Economics. In February, he became Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Český aeroholding. Prior to joining CSA, he was a member of the Board of Directors and CEO of ČSOB.
