Delphine Barut and Claude Sprecher, from the Théâtre des marionnettes in Geneva presented Like on wheels , a show composed of three stories written and directed by women. The two manipulative actors and storytellers brought to life the liberating epic of three children: Dany, walled in behind his big glasses who manages to break his isolation, Ariette who rebels in front of a circumcising grandmother and Nour, in love with emancipation in the Cairo street.
Fantasy, meticulousness, originality of the sets and the staging captivated the spectators. The actors merged with their characters. The manipulation at sight, perfectly oiled mechanics, underlined the refinement of the puppets and the objects.
