A storm awaits people in Berlin and Brandenburg on Tuesday evening. There will be thunderstorms, squalls and hail in many places until midnight.
As the German Weather Service announced in the evening, the gusts of wind can reach speeds of between 80 and 90 kilometers per hour.
Lightning, thunder and hail: A storm is raging over Berlin
On Twitter, users showed footage of the thunderstorm in the evening. During the storm, larger hailstones also rained down on the capital. A video also shows how brightly the lightning illuminated the Berlin sky. According to the information provided by the Twitter user, these are recordings from the Märkisches Viertel in Berlin.
